Roles and Duties ofData Analyst
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and data requirements.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
- Develop and execute queries, scripts, or algorithms for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Create and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Conduct statistical analysis to uncover meaningful insights and correlations.
- Present data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- Continuously monitor data quality and integrity, addressing issues as they arise.
Minimum Qualifications forData Analyst
- Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to dissect complex data sets.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying data insights to non-technical audiences.
- Focus on data accuracy and quality.
Preferred Skills forData Analyst
