Job Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Etsy Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing online store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the shop, including listing management, keyword optimization, customer service, and performance tracking. The Etsy Shop Manager will also develop and implement strategies to drive traffic and increase sales, ensuring that our brand maintains its competitive edge in the marketplace. Key Responsibilities: 	1.	Product Listing Management:	•	Create, edit, and optimize product listings with clear, compelling descriptions, accurate product details, and appropriate categories.	•	Ensure all listings have high-quality photos and videos that accurately represent the products.	•	Regularly update and refresh existing listings to maintain relevance and increase visibility in Etsy search results.	•	Manage variations for products, including sizes, colors, or customizations.	2.	Keyword Research and Optimization:	•	Perform regular keyword research to identify trends and optimize product titles, descriptions, and tags to improve shop visibility and SEO rankings.	•	Continuously update and refine keywords to stay competitive and relevant within Etsy’s algorithm.	•	Monitor performance metrics for ads and listings and adjust keywords as needed to maximize exposure and conversion rates.	3.	Advertising and Promotions:	•	Manage Etsy Ads campaigns, setting appropriate budgets, and targeting strategies to drive traffic to the shop.	•	Analyze ad performance data to optimize campaigns, adjusting bids, and keywords based on results.	•	Coordinate and execute promotions, discount sales, and seasonal campaigns to attract new customers and encourage repeat purchases.	•	Collaborate with the business owner to create coupon codes, sale events, and other promotional strategies.	4.	Customer Service and Relationship Management:	•	Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, resolving any issues related to product availability, shipping, or returns.	•	Handle customer reviews and feedback, addressing any negative reviews and fostering positive relationships with buyers.	•	Provide personalized customer service for custom orders and special requests.	•	Maintain a high shop rating by delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding customer expectations.	5.	Inventory and Order Management:	•	Monitor stock levels to ensure products are consistently available for purchase and restocked as necessary.	•	Coordinate with suppliers to manage inventory flow and prevent stockouts.	•	Process and manage daily orders, ensuring timely shipping and accurate tracking information is provided to customers.	•	Work with fulfillment partners (if applicable) to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.	6. Shop Maintenance and Growth:	•	Stay up-to-date with Etsy platform updates, new tools, and features that can enhance shop performance.	•	Regularly review competitors’ listings, pricing, and strategies to ensure the shop remains competitive.	•	Ensure the shop’s policies, FAQs, and other customer-facing information are current and aligned with the brand.	•	Implement and maintain an organized file system for product photos, customer interactions, and shop documentation.	8.	Social Media and Marketing Collaboration:	•	Work with the business owner or marketing team to develop cross-platform promotion strategies, including sharing listings on social media.	•	Suggest ideas for Pinterest, Instagram, and other platforms to drive additional traffic to the Etsy shop.	•	Collaborate with influencers or bloggers to expand the shop’s reach and improve brand visibility. Qualifications: 	•	Proven experience managing an Etsy shop or a similar e-commerce platform (Amazon, eBay, Shopify, etc.).	•	Strong understanding of Etsy’s marketplace dynamics, SEO, and keyword optimization.	•	Excellent written communication skills, with an eye for detail and a knack for crafting compelling product descriptions.	•	Ability to analyze data and metrics to improve shop performance.	•	Proficiency in using tools like Etsy Ads, Google Analytics, and any third-party Etsy management tools (eRank, Marmalead, etc.).	•	Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.	•	A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to providing excellent service and fostering customer relationships.	•	Basic graphic design or photo editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) are a plus.	•	Self-starter with the ability to work independently and remotely, managing the shop’s daily operations without close supervision. Preferred Skills: 	•	Experience with SEO tools like eRank, Marmalead, or similar Etsy SEO platforms.	•	Knowledge of Etsy policies, shop standards, and marketing strategies.	•	Familiarity with shipping logistics, especially international shipping and handling.	•	Strong social media management skills, particularly with platforms like Pinterest or Instagram, which can drive Etsy traffic.
