Im a seasoned translator, not only from English to Tagalog or Cebuano, but also from these dialects into English. Ive translated drama scripts, business emails, feature articles, life stories, poems, and songs. Ive also proofread the translated materials for spelling, punctuation, and grammar. For mechanical checking, Im meticulous with details including sentence structure, consistency, accuracy, and overall flow. One of my best experiences as a translator was when I rendered a simultaneous interpretation of a 3 day Tagalog convention into English for the benefit of about a thousand four hundred delegates from the USA. The interpretation was rendered to the English listeners via their earphones. That was more challenging than a written translation because it was done live before a large audience. What helped me succeed in that job was a good vocabulary of the English language. With that under my sleeve, I know I can give my best whatever translation job is given me.
