Amali Kulasinghe

Food science is my area of passion and I have developed many food products in several categories, such as beverages, snacks, meals, sweets, bakes, desserts, food preservation techniques, food packaging methods...etc, and have obtained several patents for them.
I have analyzed the nutritional and functional properties of 40 traditional food plant varieties in Sri Lanka during my studies. Once I finished my studies I started my own company that manufactures cookies, breakfast cereal mixes, and granola bars. I created my own recipes and they are really successful. I am a knowledge seeker and prefer to try new recipes and new products, and read and write about new knowledge.
