I believe that in every era, we are given a superpower in some form, and today it is our ‘data’. Being able to predict future events, based on past data trends, is the biggest potential of the ‘data driven approach’. Using our insights which we learn from our data to make important business decisions / SMART goals, is a real power. Although machine learning ML is a computer science field, it has applications in many other fields. Python, various data science / data visualization libraries pandas, NumPy, sci kit learn, matplotlib, seaborn, portly etc., SQL for communication with data, collecting data from various resources, at times also scraping from the web are some of the techniques which we used. To understand what the data is trying to tell us, we need to apply various statistical and ML techniques, both supervised and unsupervised. As a data analyst I would collect data, analyze and interpret complex datasets. This would give a very valuable insight, used to decide our KPIs.
