Beatriz Vaca

Music composer for performing arts and cinema. Sound space designer. Live electronic music artist.
I was born in Seville in 1985 and currently reside in Madrid, where I graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from UCM. I have been dedicated to composing and producing experimental electroacoustic music since 2006, under the name Narcoleptica.
I work with processed electric guitar, piano, electronics, and my voice as an instrument, assembling these elements into a complex sonic layering experience that is mysterious, intense, evocative, and emotional.
In addition to my published albums, my music is part of numerous compilations, collaborative albums, soundtracks, and performance pieces in dance, theater, and multidisciplinary arts.
I have performed live in numerous venues and festivals internationally, as well as several tours across Europe and Latin America, performing in Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico, Cuba, Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and more.
