I have completed my PhD in Air Traffic Management at Imperial College London in[removed]My thesis is on - A Safety Assessment Framework for Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast ADS-B and it’s Potential Impact on Aviation Safety. My PhD focused on analyzing and quantifying the performance of Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast ADS-B in terms of accuracy, integrity, latency, availability, continuity and hence safety in the dense airspace of London Terminal Maneuvering Area LTMA. The research was conducted in collaboration with NATS UK and British Airways, particularly in terms of ADS-B, Radar, WAM and onboard raw GPS navigation data collection. In addition, the research also included identifications of limitations in the radar system that resulted various incidents using safety data from Avinor Norway.
While doing my PhD, I was also involved in a consultancy project with easyJet and NASA on Fatigue Risk Analysis for Pilot and Cabin Crew.10 years experience in Aviation.
