About Me

Hello! I am a highly trained and professional proofreader, new to this site, that has been trained by and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading CIEP in the UK; therefore, you can be assured that as I have to stick to their guidelines, I always provide a quality and friendly service. I am also an ex teacher of 25 years with a degree in English and my knowledge of English punctuation and grammar is second to none. I am extremely knowledgeable when it comes to areas such as correct spelling, grammar, sentence structure, word choice, subject/verb agreement...you name it, I have taught and corrected it to a high level. I believe in good communication between myself and my client and I am able to proofread via track changes, pdfs or the use of the British proofreading symbols it is up to the client to tell me which they prefer. I am also a self published author and in my younger years I corrected copy in a major advertising company.
