About Me

I am a software engineer with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Universidade do Minho. I have been focused on data engineering and science. For the past months, I have been working as a Data Scientist at Cegid, a French based European leader in finance and retail cloud business management solutions. I am part of the team developing Cegid Pulse, a new set of intelligent agents integrated into Cegids business management solutions. I also worked as a senior software engineer at OmniumAI, a spin off company from the University of Minho developing omnia, an automated machine learning platform for biological and chemistry data. I also taught several lectures on machine learning applied to biological data as an invited assistant professor at the Department of Informatics, University of Minho. I have extensive experience and skills in data engineering and science. I am also proficient in English and have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
