Garth Muller

I completed and obtained my BA and BA Hons. Degrees in 1998 and 1999 from the Univ. of the Western Cape, Cape Town. Since graduating from university, Ive been teaching ESL / English for academic purposes on a full time basis. With 21 years’ experience as an academic English & EFL Instructor, I consider myself uniquely qualified, skilled and proficient.

My personal skills include being thorough and punctual with regard to marking, lesson planning, revision and overall class etiquette. In this regard, I endeavour to instil the same hard working ethos in my students, moulding them in becoming independent thinkers and responsible young adults. Furthermore, my calm demeanour and adaptability helps me to improvise quite easily during unforeseen and stressful circumstances. My willingness to assist and support my fellow colleagues, the department or faculty makes me a committed, dedicated and reliable team player in addition to having excellent communication / interpersonal skills.
