About Me
My name is Johnathan Patrick Josephs and I’m a Political Scientist from New York. I originally broke into politics while studying at Rider University. My first job was with the Medical Society of New Jersey. After graduation, I returned to New York as a political consultant for multiple political campaigns and causes. Since 2011 I have taken trips to China on 4 occasions. I wrote my dissertation on how capitalism affects governmental communism in China. By using cities like Shanghai to prove my theories, I was motivated to examine urban politics more closely. My passion for urban politics helped me become part of the team that has launched the nonprofit organization, Showered With Hope. Studying the development of a city and researching the socioeconomic dynamics, allows for a level of qualification which aids in the launch of a venture like this one.
