About Me
Kristine Borneo is an illustrator, author, and graphic designer based in Manila, Philippines. A former elementary school teacher, she followed her passion for art and embarked on a new path after two years of studying graphic design and illustration. Tin’s work is deeply influenced by her love for storytelling, animals especially cats, nature, and beauty. She skillfully blends her teaching experience with design principles to create children’s storybooks aimed at sparking imagination and enhancing reading skills. She has written and illustrated her own books, including The Brave Little Seed, The Lost Star, The Little Lighthouse, The Curious Kitten’s Adventure, The Magic Paintbrush, and The Sweet Adventure of Sugarberry Village.
In addition to creating children’s books, she loves capturing the beauty of diverse faces around the world through portrait art and enjoys participating in online portrait challenges and contests.
