About Me
For most of my IT working life I have been an Oracle and Unix/Linux product evangelist, as a technical consultant/manager for Oracle in their Oracle Retail Consulting group for 8 years, as a contractor on Oracle Retail/Retek implementation projects at large retailers since the late nineties and more recently on Oracle based banking software for Sopra Banking Software.
Clients include large retailers in the United Kingdom, Europe, Africa, Australia, Asia and the Middle East and major banks and building societies in the UK.
Typical roles have been as Technical Consultant working on designing, installing, configuring and supporting environments on premises and in the cloud. I enjoy people and becoming part of a great team environment. I enjoy the challenge or learning new technologies.
