Pratiksha Sarkar

First and foremost, I am Pratiksha Sarkar, a postgraduate student who completed her Masters in Science from Amity University Noida in Geographical Information System and Remote Sensing in[removed]With respect to my degree, Ive gained a hands on experience of GIS as a tool through multiple softwares like ArcGIS, QGIS, Erdas Imagine, ENVI, Smallworld, GISgraphy and many more, Ive gained a lot of experience in creating Landuse and Land Cover LULC classification maps, Land Surface Temperature LST mapping and mapping different spectral indices, agricultural crop mapping, flood and drought mapping using Landsat and Sentinel data. I am also skilled at using Google Earth Engine and Google Earth Pro. I hold specialization in Glacier Studies, Urban and Regional Planning, GIS in Environmental Studies and Satellite Meteorology as a Postgraduate Student of GIS. Within my tenure as a student, Ive won Mapathon 2023 organized by IIT Bombay and FOSEE where I submitted my entry on A Correlational Study on Air Quality Index and Deaths due to Respiratory Diseases in the states of India.
