Rukesh Prushothman

I am a Chemical Engineer in the Hot-Dip Galvanizing industry. I was also a project engineer in a semiconductor company where I had learned about an industry which deals with mechatronics and considered out of my comfort zone. I've always been passionate about being involved in the engineering field and therefore has lead me to pursue many certifications including my degree in Chemical Engineering, Major in Petrochemicals. I am also a competent personnel for the scrubber system which are used by many manufacturing companies as a mean for air pollution control. Besides that, I am also certified in Lean Management. The interest in continuous improvement had definitely encouraged me to take up the course and enabled me to implement many ideas for cost saving. My experience in the industry expanded when I was fortunate to also be involved in the procurement department. This had opened many opportunities for me to gain knowledge on supplier relationship and networking.
