Software Engineer with two years’ experience and an educational background in Applied mathematics and computer science. Currently based in Gauteng, South Africa.
Worked at the National Research Foundation as an Intern Software Engineer as part of my bursary agreement. Had the opportunity to build an employee log system using technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and C++. Also worked on creating web forms on a system used to carbon date samples.
Had exposure in the cloud space as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services where I was exposed to various technologies – built a feature that involved pulling data from a data lake, an API that was triggered by the end user to pull this data from our database to the front end, using AWS Glue, Amazon S3, SQL, Java, HTML and CSS.
