About Me
I am a final year Bachelor of Journalism Rhodes University student, and I aspire to be a multimedia personality. I am also goal driven and dedicated to being an asset in the journalism, media and communications industry.
During my 3 years at Rhodes University, courses such as Media Law and Ethics, News Writing and Multimedia Storytelling have provided a comprehensive understanding of the principles of journalism. During this time, I also tutored, interned, and volunteered at African Leadership Magazine, Newskoop, Rhodes University, and Rhodes Music Radio where I currently still work.
The above experiences have honed my skills in conducting interviews, researching, writing compelling stories and utilising multimedia tools for effective storytelling. What distinguishes me is my ability to thrive in fast paced environments. I am confident that my academic achievement, practical experience and personal attributes make me an ideal candidate for any organisation.
