Sophie Racine

I’m a UX/UI Designer and Marketing & Project Management graduate from HEC Montreal.

I quickly realized I wanted to work in a field where I could put my creativity and problem solving skills to use in a more fulfilling way, so I transitioned into user interface and user experience design.

My marketing education and work experience gave me the know how to elaborate and implement strategies with an aligned creative direction. Although marketing and UX research have different end goals, the overlap of tactics makes me more adept at conducting user research and gaining an intimate understanding of the audiences needs and wants.

During my UI/UX training, I applied design thinking and user centric design theory by working on multiple design case studies requiring that I conceive mobile apps from research to prototyping. These helped me build my technical skillset and gain the knowledge to leverage my creativity and empathy to solve user problems and design intuitive products.
