Hello! Please call me Eloi. I’ve been in the Software Testing industry for more than 10 years now. I was given a bootcamp for proper testing concept and practice. I was then deployed to a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company and was able to work first hand on different testing types, stages and even application/platforms. It was all manual testing then. I loved it and I also love working with diverse groups of people. Years later, the automation came in and we had to keep up. Automation is beneficial for the business and the users, only when the testing environment is stable. Unfortunately for my experience, it was never good and we never saw the value of the automated scripts we built and ran. I worked in Manila, New Jersey and back here in the Philippines, few hours away from Manila, remotely. I believe am more productive in my current setup now. I’m a freelancer and rendering hours for an outsourcing company and looking forward for a part time that is manual testing which I love!
