Ges Jaicten is a young West Visayan poet, essayist, and fiction writer from Iloilo City. Inspired by writers that he grew up with reading, the insatiable need to express himself through writing, and after a grueling career in the BPO industry, Ges took up an AB Literature degree under the University of San Agustin in Iloilo City. As a budding writer, Ges has recently been focused on the craft of poetry to express feelings of longing and loss about current events in the hopes of honing his craft and mastery of the language in the pursuit of the exploration of other genres.
