Wasihun T. Lemma

For over three years, Ive been about teaching journalism, equipping students with the skills they need to succeed. I have taught everything from compulsory theoretical journalism courses to practical production ones.

In addition, I am a co founder of @Afro MILAS, a media advocacy and support initiative that aims to create a media literate and active generation. I now work remotely as a freelancer, content creator, social media manager, trainer, and event organizer.

Im a candidate for an MA in Broadcast Journalism from Jimma University. Im also pursuing another Masters in Global Journalism from NLA University College, Norway.

I particularly enjoy the process of writing and editing stories. I consistently strive to deliver accurate and high quality work. I hold a strong interest in journalism and media studies of the world, as well as in regional and global socioeconomics and politics.

I have excellent news writing and editing skills and a distinctive and professional voice.
