My combination of expertise, abilities, and experience in various aspects of proofreading, editing, publishing, and writing make me highly qualified. I am also very familiar with remote work.
In my most recent role as a copy editor at a media outlet that covers international issues, I was responsible for proofreading, editing, and writing articles. I developed and implemented editorial standards for both style and quality. Publishing articles online via WordPress, writing and then sending out daily newsletters via the Mailchimp program, and training interns in the use of those tools were also a part of my responsibilities. I was tasked with updating the company’s style guide.
I have been a proofreader for many years and have been hired to work on texts covering a wide range of subjects, including the editing/proofreading of entire books on art and culture.
I am very experienced in remote work and freelance jobs.
