<span>In this project, we developed the hardware and firmware for a small battery-powered wireless node that would measure the amplitude of vibration of any industrial equipment, and using that data, the system would detect the frequency of the vibration component that leads to maximum amplitude. Then save the analyzed data into an onboard SD card and send an Alarm to the server using Lora communication when the frequency or amplitude of vibration reaches a preset threshold. The device also had a USB interface for data logging and configuration. The system was also equipped with battery fuel gauging and charger controller with over-current, over-voltage, and deep discharge protection.
We had used digital filtering methods to filter the data and FFT algorithm was used for analyzing the frequency components.</span><br>
